Occupational Therapy Services
We offer a range of Occupational Therapy services to support children and young people’s development, daily functioning, and emotional well-being. This includes individual assessment, EHCP support, and guidance for schools, parents and caregivers.

Consultation & Advice
Sometimes it helps to talk things through with someone who understands. These consultations offer a calm space to explore your concerns, ask questions, and reflect on what might help next.
Following these assessments, you’ll receive clear, practical advice and strategies tailored to your child or young person’s everyday needs, helping you feel more confident about the next steps.

Assessments
Assessments are designed to build a clear picture of how your child or young person manages everyday tasks and challenges. Using a thoughtful, holistic approach, we look beyond a single skill area to understand how various factors may be influencing participation and progress. You’ll receive clear recommendations and practical strategies, with guidance on whether further assessment may be helpful.

EHCP Services
EHCP-related assessments and reports focus on understanding your child or young person’s strengths, needs, and educational experiences. Time is taken to listen carefully to parental views and to observe how skills are used in real-life settings. The resulting reports are specific and quantified, are appropriate and evidence-based, and are written to clearly reflect functional needs, providing a strong foundation for planning and review.

Meetings & Tribunal Attendance
Navigating meetings, reviews, or tribunal processes can feel overwhelming. Attendance and written contributions are offered to help ensure a child or young person’s needs are clearly understood and represented. With careful preparation and professional input, this service aims to bring clarity, confidence, and reassurance during important decision-making moments.
Why chose
Occupational
Therapy
Building independence
Occupational therapy focuses on the practical skills needed for daily life, such as self-care, school tasks, and play. By breaking skills into manageable steps, children and young people can gain confidence and greater independence over time.
Supporting emotional regulation
Many everyday challenges are linked to how children and young people experience and manage their emotions and sensory needs. Occupational therapy helps identify what may be affecting regulation and introduces strategies that support calmer, more confident participation in daily activities.
Improving participation at school and home
Occupational therapy looks at how children and young people take part in learning, play, and family life. By understanding barriers and strengths, occupational therapy helps make everyday environments more accessible and supportive.
Strengthening confidence and self-belief
When everyday tasks feel achievable, confidence grows. Occupational therapy focuses on recognising strengths, celebrating progress, and helping children and young people feel more capable and more positive about trying new challenges.
Success Stories
Testimonials
I’m always really grateful for the kind feedback I receive from families I’ve worked with. Below are a few words they’ve kindly shared about their experiences working with me over the years.
Mother
Your detailed understanding of his needs made him feel safe, protected and heard. You tailored every part of your assessment to his exact needs and you were able to identify not only his sensory profile but leave us with actionable support to get him out of the red and a clear path to keep him there.
Father
A big thanks should go to our Occupational Therapist, Jo Wood, for her amazing report and service. She really saw and understood our child, I cannot recommend her services enough.
Mother
We've done it! Despite the attempts of the LA, the Judge found their behaviour and evidence inappropriate, and named our specialist school for our child. Thank you Jo Wood for your amazing report and standing as witness. The impossible is truly possible.
